Dr. R. L. Zinta is Professor of Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. He is having 24 years of experience in teaching psychology and conducting research in the field of Psychology and Social Science. He has served the position of Chairman of Department of Psychology two times in his professional carrier.  He also has remained in administrative posts of the Himachal Pradesh University.

Prof. Zinta has written approx more than 20 books on psychology and social sciences. And he has published about sixty research papers in national and international journals of psychology and social science. (Currently many research papers are in process). He has guided approximately 14 PhD students and hundreds of M.phil  and PG students in his career of professorship in the Department of Psychology.  He has presented many research papers in National and international conferences, seminars and rendering social services to the rural and urban communities of our country.  

Beside this he has completed three research projects on Psychology and Mental Health. He is contributing to uplift the awareness of “Mental health Care” in Himachal Pradesh and India.
